R2-D2, The Real Hero of the SW Saga

Wow..
I was thinking all this swapping sides..with Republic and the Separatists..
Sith and Jedi..and Mercenaries..
What Character truly can be called a Hero....R2 -D2..
In every movie.. He takes care of business..
EP 1.. Saves the Royal Naboo Cruiser from the TF, Helps Anakin build his Racer, acts as the AV display for the Theed/Gungan resistance plan of action.. Protects young anakin..in the starfighter.. flies up with anakin..and takes out the TF BattleShip..
EP 2.. Serves as Padme's guard, escorts and fosters Anakin and Padme's romance.."watches the ship"..for any important Jedi transmissions..Flies the kids to Genosis to save Obi Wan.. flies..who ends up saving Padme from melting..and C3PO from the Jedi and Himself..
EP 3.. Leads the Charge and Rescue.. with Ani and Obi.. to save the Chancellor, opens doors, operates elevators, Takes out superbattle and destroyer droids.. Uses shock tactics to free Ani and Obi from Grievous..
Helps land the Invisible Hand..checks out.. Still finds time to chill with C3Po and Metallic Women robots, leads the charge on the Separatist with Ani,
Saves Padme again with C3Po..
EP 4 carrys out secret mission while under fire on the Tantive IV and onto Tatooine..to Obi and Luke..,locates Princess, Opens doors and shuts off in the Death Star Trash Compactor..saves the heros..opens more doors,
repairs the hyperdrive on the falcon, loads up with Luke in the X Wing..Guides him to the trench.. Where he is blasted by his former Master..
EP 5.. Takes Luke to Yoda,,protects him from Yoda..helps Luke train to be a Jedi.Escorts Luke to Cloud City, opens doors, saves Leia, Chewy, C3po and Lando..
EP 6.. Serves as the eyes of the outfit to case the joint for Luke, Leia, Chewy, and Lando..also serves the drinks on the sail barge, Once again using surprise tactics he shoots Luke his saber and zaps Jabba's buddy..Salicous Crumb,and saves Leia again..goes with the Solo Strike Team to Endor to take out the shield generator, protects Leia, opens doors, Dances with Ewoks..
Nuff Said.. R2 D2.. all hail the Hero of the Saga..

Artoo is the boss. He's hip. He's cheeky. He's cute. He doesn't take crap from anybody. He's brave. He's reliable. He's the best confidant the Galaxy could ask for.

You try holding those secrets in for the better part of 20 years!

Imagine:
Threepio is getting on Artoo's nerves between III and IV. Finally, Artoo snaps and beeps, "Oh yeah, well your father is Darth Vader. Philosophize that."

Threepio is dumbstruck. "No, Artoo, that's not true; that's impossible."

Artoo bleeps, "Search your circuits. You know it to be true."

Threepio wails, "Noooo!"
