EP 1..Anakin's Guardian Angel in the Naboo Fighter..Did Anakin make a lucky shot..? Hardly..veteran flying by Warbird Astromech...
EP 2.Queen's Sentry Guard, Body guard, Tuff Droid taking on the Trade Federation and the Genosians on the side of the Queen and Jedi.
EP 3.. Anakin's astromech, Anakin's flying skills..ha.. veteran warbird astromech. Cool underfire.. R2 taking on the TF and Grievious in the Invisible Hand.. Shocking the General and Bodyguard to iniate the suprise attack.. R2 stands by as Anakin turns to the darkside..but immediately assists Obi Wan and C3po when Padme and the Twins lives are at stake..
EP 4.. He is on his own side.. man, machine, or jawa cannot stop this droid from completing his mission..and then he becomes part of the Rebel Alliance.. saving the Princess Leia from the cell and the other from certain death in the trash compactor.. fixing the hyperdrive on the Falcon and relaying the Death Star plans to the Rebels.. Honestly, do you think a FARMBOY made the shot on the DEATHSTAR? Who is the man with the plans?? R 2.. Sure his outer dome was half blown away.. He sealed the deal.. He held the blaster, aimed it, and Luke pulled the trigger..Kaboom!
EP 5.. Sure he knew the way to Dagobah.. He was probably the only one who knew.. Yoda.. He crashed the XWing in the swamp so Luke had to be trained as a Jedi.. Training tool for Luke and Yoda.. Opened doors and located personnel on Bespin..
EP 6.. Was the key to the Han's rescue.. Shooting Luke' saber to him at a critical moment.. and saved the Princess again.. Opens doors on Endor.. Dances with Ewoks..
Need I say more??
Was a R2 a droid with Force adept abilities..? or was he just that good?
