As a fan of all things SciFi.. I love movies and TV.. With the upcoming Star Wars TV series which path will it take? Cartoon Network's Clone Wars was great.. it was short but, great.
As far as TV goes, Star Trek sets the standard.. I would love to see Star Wars TV start with a core a splinter into several different series.. That would satisy the ever growing Expanded Universe of KOTOR, Thrawn, and NJO and beyond..
BattleStar Galactica has been around for awhile and has recreated itself into an edgy adult SciFi TV series that is wildly popular.
Cartoon Network's Clone Wars was great but, seemed more like a cool 2 commercial never really digging very deep into the characters..
Firefly was a wonderful SciFi series.. only, noone saw it before it was too late.. only to be resurrected on the big screen by its loyal fans..
Lost is great.. I could see Star Wars using the flashback technique to bring in cameos from SAGA stars..
I am sure Lucas Film analysts and the think tanks are working out the details even now as we blog or sleep...
Personally...I would love a Star Wars themed, great character driven, adult themed, splintering flashback show with cameos from the original SAGA.. to become Star Wars TV..
I have great faith in George Lucas and Rick McCallum (Young Indy) to create/produce something magnificent.. that will add to the Galaxy of Star Wars..
