For the past couple of months... these ideas have been running through my head.. I think it is inspired by the Darth Vader scene when he cries out "No!!!" and the novel Dark Lord.
I have been rolling these ideas around in my head for a short story that is in the Psychological/Hitcock Type Horror Film.. to be in Vader's mind's eye..
Again, it centers on Anakin..Now Darth Vader..As he enters into one of his many episodes.. he relives horrors from his past.. he is visited.. from the slayed Darth Maul who he only sees as a child (he may be perseverating), to his slain mento Qui Gon, to the slain Sandpeople, his mother, to the jedi in the temple, the younglings, the separatist leaders, Padme and his children, Obi Wan, and the Emperor..
The meditation chamber must be a horrible place for Darth Vader. Vader can never find an inner calm or peace. Haunted by his life journey and what he has become, wishing only to be loved..
Vader reclaims his humanity through the love of son, Luke.. and defeats his worst nightmare...Darth Sidious/Emperor Palpatine... to slay the inner demons..and conffess his sins before death..so his soul may rest in peace.
This "horror" can also transfered to Obi Wan Kenobi... as he slayed his friend and left him for dead..
