Hey everyone! Recently in my Speech class, we were assigned an "American Icon" speech. Naturally, the second I saw Star Wars on the list of topics, I jumped on it. Tommorow is my speech and I was wondering if you guys could give me a little help. Mostly, I was hoping you could give me some cool facts that you know or cool things to say on the following topics:

1. How SW changed the film industry internally
2. How SW changed the film industry externally (as in the publics view of movies)
3. SW's introduction of wide-spread merchandising to movies
4. SW's impact on American popular culture.

I'm only allowed to cover those topics in my speech, so if any of you have any cool facts about those topics you could give me or any thing you think I should talk about within those topics would be much appreciated. I have most of my speech done, but now I just need some filler. It's not quite at the time limit yet, so I just need a little boost. Thanks in advance you guys!
