Reviews: Rule of Two and Dark Rondezvoux
Lets take it in chronological order. OK? Ok. Good.

Darth Bane: Rule of Two:

This book is obviously the sequel to Darth Bane: Path of Destruction, and what a sequel it is!! The story focuses on Darth Bane and Darth Zannah, the Sith apprentice. I loved this book! The look into the Dark Side was great, and this book shaped Bane into a menace that rivals Darth Vader in pure evilness. Zannah, though, is who shines. Around 20 years old in this book, she uses her Sith powers in ways you could only imagine in the movies or more mild Star Wars books.

The book provides a great view into the building of a Holocron, provided by an ancient Sith Lord, and a sweet show of Sith Alchemy! I definitely (butchered that spelling, lol.) would recommend this book.

High Point of this Book: (SPOILER possible!) While Bane is learning to build his own Holocron, he duels mechanized monsters guarding an ancient Holocron. One of these monsters is a mechanized Rancor, decked with guns and lasers!

Clone Wars: Yoda: Dark Rendezvoux (Again spoiled the spelling!)

This book was my favorite out of the Clone Wars novels (a la Shatterpoint, etc.)! Featuring Scout, a girl who can see a few minutes into the future, Whie, a boy who has dreams of the future (and his death, so he thinks!) who is featured in RotS and Yoda, who needs no intro! The story focuses on the teacher/apprentice dynamic, as Dooku sends Yoda a message, asking for peace and a return to the Jedi. Is it a trap? Either way, its a great read!!

Nice reviews. I loved Rule of Two as well. I thought Dark Rendezvous was a bit uneven. Yoda had some odd characterizations.
