Revan and Bastila: A Forbidden Love
Okay, this is according to Star Wars canon (wookiepedia exactly). Let's just lay the groundwork according to canon.

1. Revan was male.

2. Revan did choose the lightside.

3. Revan and Bastila did fall in love.

Now that we have that worked out, let's continue onto the point of this blog.Quite frankly, Revan and Bastila made a great couple. When I first played KOTOR, I remember saying "I hope Revan and Bastila end up together". Yep, I really said that.

Yes, it's a cute love story. A fallen Sith lord with no memory falls in love with the very jedi who captured him. So sweet:x . Later, the Sith Lord, after taking th path of the light, must save his love from the dark side. Even sweeter:x .

However, it seems as if fate would deny the two their love. I mean come on, plenty of things had happened trying to discourage both of them. First off, was the fact as to who Revan really was. This would freak any sane jedi girl. Then, is the fact that Bastila fell to the dark side, only to be saved by a previous Sith Lord.

After Malak was defeated and the Republic saved, things seemed to be going pretty well for the two. However, Revan gained memories of someone, or something, called the "True Sith". He left for the unknown regions on a quest.

Bastila, unable to bear the pain of not having her love with her, went off to find Revan. She even went as far as to have Carth ask the Exile, Revan's old Sith general, where Revan was. This only amounted to no avail. Bastila soon left for the unknown regions, in hope of finding Revan.

Is it just me, or does fate not want these two together? So many things happened to discvourage their love. What happened to Revan? Will he and Bastila ever meet again? Why aren't the developers answering these questions by making KOTOR III? MmmmmX-( ?

Only time, and hopefully a very good third instalment in the KOTOR series will answer these questions that the fans yearn to know. Please, make a KOTOR III. Or a Revan comic book. Please, keep the KOTOR series, and the love between Revan and Bastila, from being nothing more than a dimming light in the dark.
