Some new grabs
I was thrilled when I got home yesterday to find a box on my doorstep. Boxes are always nice. There's always that feeling of anticipation as to what's inside. Basically, I knew what was inside which made it all the more hard to control myself from jumping out of a moving car as I pulled in to the driveway.

The box was from none other than DEEJ himself. A key player in the finishing up of my McQuarrie Concept Figs. There are indeed other to thank as well.

So I grabbed the box and immediately went in to open it up.

Inside I find a C3-PO PEZ dispenser and a few Vader heads filled with candy (somewhere between a Spree and a Sweet Tart)....DELICIOUS! But the main booty was there and it consisted of THE FINAL THREE McFigs that I needed. Way too cool for words. I looked and I really think this rounds out the collection. Thanks WAY SO much!

Then, I went out and about and decided to stop off at a couple stores to see what was what. Thinking that with Indy figs hitting shelves, and y smart store would make an Indy/Star Wars aisle the likes of which could not be stopped. Well, nobody around here has done that.

I did, however, find some really great figs none the less.

ZEV SENESCA, responsible for locating Solo and Skywalker on Hoth "I found them. Repeat, I found them."

I'd looked at the MUSTAFAR PANNING DROID several times and finally broke down and purchased one. Then as I was about to leave the aisle, I was commanded to return by NEYO and GREE. I don't recall NEYO in the movie but I do recall that being an early graphic for a lot of figs and toys. A graphic of him running toward the "camera" or "out" of the packaging. Cool fig. GREE is also a pretty groovy clone. I say it all the time, you just can't have too many clones. Not at all. I believe DEEJ is with me on this one.

Finally, some things that I will blog about in the not too distant future. My trip to ILM back in February, the joys of being a lower middle class kid and having to find ordinary things to become my Star Wars stuff.
