The first in a series
Here is a new vlog taking a look at a few pieces in the collection. The first part is a look at the McQuarrie Concept Line. Thanks to DJ MAUL, I have the completed set now. And I owe him a look at his blog. GEESH! I'm behind on your tours!!!!

WHAT A CONCEPT!

These figs are among the coolest to be found, at least to me. Based on McQuarrie's artwork that was instrumental in getting this whole saga started, these figures became sort of a treasure hunt. Either Hasbro didn't think the line would be a success, or they were intentionally making it difficult to find these, it became a headache and a quest.

Originally my goal was to get 2 of each so I could have a shrine to McQuarrie. I have his 1977 portfolio and these were to be opened and sealed figures to go along with their respective paintings. It was hard enough to just get the 1st set and I decided that I was not going to go and horde these things just so I could have openers. I may very well open the ones I have and call it a day. However, they do display nicely as carded figs as well. We'll see how that all pans out.
