I bit the inside of my mouth and now I have 3 Rancor sores......

That's right, a horrible pun to start things off....and not even really funny.

This video will be a look at my three Rancors. The vintage, the re-release and the newest one from a certain video game coming up in the fall.

The Rancor has always been a favorite of mine, not really from the film itself, but more from watching special effects shows as a kid and seeing that this monster was a hand puppet. I loved how they could get so detailed with something that small (not to mention the Millenium Falcon that was the size of a quarter). Time passed and they found new ways to bring our friend back around. He makes appearances in other video games but one of the best was STAR WARS DEMOLITION. Not a fave of everyone's but my daughter and I LOVE this game. It brought her favorite EU character in for game play (Aurra Sing) and it was the first game to have a Rancor as a war beast. It could be ridden and taken into battle. A little slow and awkward, it was hard to get the feel for it but as a powerhouse, it was almost unstoppable.
