Praytell, why did you settle on moving to California? California is in dire straights and worse off fiscally than all other States. I'm assuming you have friends/family out here? Otherwise, RUN SLOW RUN...away from California.

Wow, what a transformation. And try not to get rid of that toy collection. You will regret it in the end if you do. It will be a last resort if I do sell it. I will keep the things from my youth though. Too many emotions connected to each piece.

Anyway, I live in Cali so let us know where you plan on landing. Looking at Thousand Oaks as a place to anchor. Some fairly reasonable apartments there that are bigger than our house. The room will not be the same until we buy a house somewhere though.

Two of the most stressful things in a life both happening at the same time, stretched over a great distance and happening at a time in life when you should be settled already....It's all good though.

Gadzooks, it's so... bare! I remember the days when you could actually LIVE in your house to show it.....those days are gone. Nobody has vision past the bare essentials anymore.
