LET DOWN
As with every adrenaline rush, the letdown has begun. I knew it would happen (as it did following EPI and II). There's a big difference this time, though. There is no movie to look forward to. I get this feeling every time I finish a really good book. I find myself asking "Now what?"

I want to talk about the experience, but frankly, most people around me can't or won't talk about Star Wars intelligently. I still have the discussion groups, I suppose. But we all have lives and have to move on to other things. I suppose that's really the letdown. It's over. I'm sure GL will find a way to milk some more story opportunities out of the franchise with the proposed Telivision series and there's always more EU stories to tell. But, for me, it's over. The story is complete.

Bittersweet has never better discribed a feeling than this one I have now.
