Star Wars Origami at the Boston Museum of Science
This was posted in the Origami Web ring a few months ago.

Hi,
I'm emailing from the Museum of Science in Boston. The Museum and LucasFilm are creating an exhibition (Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination) that will open to the public in October 2005 and run through April 2006. Is there anyone in Boston or on the East Coast who does Star Wars origami and might be interested in demonstrating here at the MOS? Thanks! Lisa Monrose Lectures & Special Programs, Museum
of Science, Boston

The exhibition runs from October to April. I spoke with Ms. Monrose and she's very interested in having me teach a few Star Wars Origami classes for one or two days, and maybe doing another life size demonstration (see http://starwarsorigami.com/lifesize/Lifesize.htm ) I'm going to try to talk her into allowing a small static display of original Star Wars origami pieces to be displayed during the entire exhibition. I think it would be great to have a few artists who have designed original pieces to contribute to the display. If you are interested please contact me at Chris@StarWarsOrigami.com and hopefully this will be something they'll want to do

Hey, nice job at the exhibit today. :) I liked the fighter-chase Holocron, and I'll treasure my signed Boba Fett forever... :D
