Unfortunately, it turns out in the end that Ralph McQuarrie was not able to sign cards for us this time. Although Mr. McQuarrie wanted very much to do so, he was not in the physical shape needed to complete the signatures. Ralph is truly a legend and as someone responsible for the general look of the Star Wars Galaxy, it would have been an honor to have him participate.

I worked with Stan Stice who is a terrific guy. He is the author of the new Retrospective McQuarrie book which everyone should check out. It is brilliant stuff. Stan acted on the behalf of Ralph, and hopefully pending Ralph's health we'll get to do this in the future.
