Heroes.
How does everyone that reads this feel about Heroes?

I love it. My wife usually humors me and watches some of my geekish TV series, however, she was the driving force that saw us motor through the season one episodes in two weeks earlier this year. It's got both that geeky charm plus the aspects that make non-geeks get into it as well.

It's one of those shows that I really, really wish I had time for...but don't.

However, since my daughter hung out with and sang karaoke with Hayden Panetierre at the VMAs over the weekend, I'll make a concerted effort.

Saw the pilot, decided that I couldn't commit to another show. Everyone tells me I'm missing out, though.

Loved it from day one, and even my not-so-geeky wife won't miss it. I think that says a lot, because the comic-book geek (me) drools over the cool powers, the characters are engaging enough for a non-comics fan (my wife), and the story is strong enough to keep us both enthralled....

Love it, although I sort of cringe at all the overdone hype. I'll be interested to see how the Origins project works out. Hiro is my Hero :)

Haven't watched it yet, although I plan on buying the First Season-box when it becomes available here... I heard a lot of good things about it and am kinda curious...

Wow. I really didn't think I'd get much of a response on this. I am glad to see so many people enjoy the show. I persoanlly love it!
Check out Leah's link above for a sneak peek of Heroes Sketch Cards that I released earlier today.
If people are interested, I will post new Heroes news here.

My wife and I absolutely love Heroes. It's the usual "Around the Watercooler" topic of conversation the next day at work. Can't wait for Season 2 to start!

I started watching it at the beginning but it took too long to develop and I got bored... very bored, and it takes a lot to bore me in a Sci-Fi show...so I have to say I hate it...

ah..heroes heroes heroes. such a conundrum really. a show that is 95% excellent untill the last 5 minutes...such a pitty.

i wont spoil anything but the ending was, for me, a little flat and had more holes than swiss cheese. but hey, as its creater tim kring stated "come on guys, its just a show"

still looking forward to season 2 though, if only to tide me over till lost comes back in february.

My favorite show currently in production. Well written, and creative in its choice to not feature all of its main characters in nearly every episode.

I'm also glad they let Hiro be a genuinely earnest and uncynical soul. Characters like that are hard to find in today's popular fiction. Everyone's gotta be edgy, quick with a one-liner and drowning in their own cynicism, and if they're not that way to begin with, they'll soon get their comeuppance and *become* that way. All superheroes today are destined to be Batman instead of Superman.

Hiro, after a full season, is still Superman. Wiser, yes, but still earnest and uncynical. I hope they never see fit to change that about him.
