Well, I'm aware that there will be people who don't care a thing about having a holocron replica, but I also know there's a lot of people out there who have been waiting for this.

I'm really curious about the reason we still haven't seen this replica released, I mean there are even real props now, they were made for ep II visual guide, thought I would prefer they change the latin phrase from the sith holocron with some made up ancient sith words or something. Well anyway, I still think it's a shame we have replicas for the anakin/vader light saber from each episode, and we don't have holocrons (not that I complain about the other replicas).

I'm not sure if we got a replacement for master replicas already, or if they are trying to get an agreement again, but I'm sure that if someone "official" (I saw holocrons once, but were kind of fan made), create some replicas of jedi and sith holocrons, the piramid and cube ones, there would be a lot of fans interested in getting them.

I know they are never mentioned in the movies, but they have won their place in the lore of the saga, no idea if the first mention of them was in the Dark Empire comics, or in the Jedi Academy trilogy, but now they are inmediately relationed to Star Wars (maybe not at the level of a light saber, but they do bring Star Wars to your mind)

Well I hope we can get this someday.
