For some reason I feel the need to play this games again =), I really love them, but then theres something that have always dissapointed me about them. It's not usual that a video game char get so many followers, and even less if it's a shooter with almost no background (Dark Forces), and even thought Kyle Katarn managed to do that, appart from him, I think only Dash, and recently Revan have achieved that.

I consider the first 3 games to be great, and after JK I, I was sure Kyle and Jan would get married, but to my surprise they didn't, by the time we got JO, again after that one I was hopping that they would finally get married, and again to my surprise the Vongs came and they still were single O_o, man they are getting old, and it's a shame, now I'm not sure that we would ever know.

I'm really hopping we can at least get a confirmation of this in some novel, comic or video game, after Kyle's appearance in Tales I thought that would be the perfect place to see just a short story about this (I'm not really interested in another "Union") but tales ended =( and now it will be difficult to put this on comic, I don't even know if there has been any mention of Jan in the Legacy novels, but I doubt it, I know Kyle have been beated preatty bad (I refuse to read them until I know Jacen will recieve what he deserves >_< ) and it seems he is still single.

Now why I'm so interested in this, well, most of my favorite chars from EU and the movies at one point or another decided to share their lives with someone else, and after all the things they have been through I think they do deserve that bit of happiness, I'm not really sure how to put this in words, but to know that Lando, Wedge, Kam and many others, got married made me feel happy for them.

Also I'm hopping that some day we might see a couple of adventures of Kyle during the 8 years between DF and JK, there have been rumors of a new JK game, but they have been there forever, if my memory don't fails me, at some point Kyle was supposed to die in Star by Star, but for some reason someone decided agains it and little by little he got more presence in the novels, the fact that his death was cancelled feed the rumors of a new game, but I really don't think it would happen =(. Havoc, Euphoria and DMM + JK that is something I would really love to see, but think we will get plenty of it with Force Unleashed, after that next thing I bet we will get is KotOR, but more than that I have no idea.

At least I hope we can get a new Kyle Katarn figure, but most important for me would be a Jan Ors <-- I have an infinity of reason why I want that one, first of all is because we don't have that many female rebel agents. (Leia and Mothma do not count because they are leaders), well in fact we don't have many rebel agents at all, but a female figure would be a great addition.

It has some really good entries, and some really bad, theres about everything there =) around page 2-3 they get better.

And yes Kyle is one of my favorite chars from EU second only to Thrawn I would say, I like many others, but I consider those 2 special for some reason.
