Turn off your mind, relax, and flow down stream.
Did you know that you can tell alot from a person's eyes? What they look like, how they feel, what they're looking at. We have eyes to see our surroundings and see the others around us. But sometimes, when we close our eyes and sleep, darkness comes. And sometimes, the dark isn't our friend.
Lava spirts out of the planet's veins as a panicked woman rushes over to a dark figure. Her name is Padme. Literally in pieces after the things that she has heard, she asks Anakin to leave with her. He says they don't have to run anymore. They can rule the galaxy together and overthrow the Emperor.
What did Padme see in Anakin's eyes? What did he see? Padme was full of insecurity and weakness and fear. A woman who's just been told that her husband was a murderer. A woman who only wanted love and care and a happy life beside the waters of Naboo.
Anakin was full of anger and lust. His eyes were blood-red, a sign of the Sith. He didn't care about the Jedi or the galaxy, he just wanted freedom. And he adcieved that with his new powers. After murdering countless Jedi and the Separtist leaders, he was now ready to use them for her and himself. Or was he?
Was he really doing it for her? No, of course not, he wanted power for himself. He was like a wild beast, full of energy and didn't want anyone else to share it with him. He had the power in his grasp. And he didn't want anyone to stop him from achieving his ultimate goals.
She was also full of anger, but not in the same way. She was like a frightened little dog, living out on the streets, shivering and lonely. She was angry things had to turn out like the way they did. And, as the emotions mixed together, a new one was born: confusion. Yes, it was confusion that perplexed them and everyone. The Jedi. Padme. Obi-Wan. Yoda. Everyone.
Yet, there was a glimmer of hope, a ray of light shining through the fog of smoke and hell-fire. The future was near. Even thought it was distant, it was near at the same time. As she gave birth to Luke and Leia, her hopes and dreams were passed on. Through pain, did she finally know the truth. They were the hope for the future.
As Anakin was found limbless and scared, he was taked to an operating table and was reassembled into a brand-new man, a stronger man, one that wasn't controlled by emotions, only by hatred and power. And fear. Yes, deep inside was Padme speaking out. Her voice was muffled by the walls of steel, but it was there. And it always was.
Anakin was always in a shell. Ever since he began his apprenticeship with Obi-Wan, the shell began to form layer after layer until it was as hard as metal. An unbreakable wall that was keeping him from Padme, from Obi-Wan, from himself. He was trapped in a deep, murky cave with a torch with only a few flames burning. But, it wasn't out. Not yet.
"There is still good in him."
As he took his first steps into a brave new world, Anakin was reborn as a cyborg, a slave to his master's will and to his mechanical body and mind. But, it was still there. The light was still gleaming off the waters.
As the bright sun of Naboo shined on the clear waters, it shined the clearer. It shined on what was, what could have been, and what can be. As the sun grew brighter, the waters seemed to stop rippling. The fish in the water calmed. The ripples disappered and wouldn't come back. Everything was calm and peaceful. Everything was still. Everything was clear.
May The Force Be With You.
