The New Starwars

In starwars episode 6 we saw our great Luke skywalker turn vader good, for that breife moment that he threw Darth Sidius down the hole, we thought this was the end of starwars, until Lucas made the prequals, at the end ouf the entire saga we thought this too was the end of starwars. But guess what its not.

Just recently Lucas has announced that he is in the making of a proper starwars tv show, it'll have propper costumes and some of our favorites will be appearing. The tv show is based on what Luke did after the empire's defeat. When Luke begins a jedi acadamy on our famous Yavin 4. And so forth.

The good news is that we will finally know what luke got up to after the empire. but the bad news is it wont be appearing until next year. and on the plus side it will have all of the affects and it won't be some crappy little animation, which we all hate. Lucas has anounce the tv series will go for 100 episodes no more no less.

Actually champ, It's gonna be set in between episodes III and IV, and I believe may possibly feature a small group of young jedi, who survived Order 66, and are being hunted by the Empire.

It will probably feature the occasional main character like Vader or Boba Fett , but not too much, so It will ensure that there are fewer plot clashes with what is already established.

You're right on the 100 episode limit, which is a good idea to prevent the series from flabbing out and becoming worn for ideas and story.

The Tartakovsky Animated series however is loved by millions! What's the drama? the Clone Wars will also continue in a computer animated appendage.

date Posted: Jan 23, 2006 12:14 AM no, that's just in the New Jedi Order Books. The Official Mag eh? Hmmm... I'm very confident that the series isn't covering the NJO! Lucas has discussed the series briefly in interviews in Sydney whilst he was looking at buying a house. I'm sure the Vong are a bit "R rated" and they'd want to keep the series at a PG level!

date Posted: Jan 23, 2006 1:31 AM The Clone Wars cartoon is alright once you get over the fact the characters look a little different. So the TV series should end with the battle in which Princess Leia obtains the Death Star plans and is then is chased by Darth Vader's Star Destroyer.

I doubt theyll have any characters in the new show that were in the movies where faces change.

For instance... coming close to the time of Ep:4 and showing Leia cause theyd have contradicting actresses. I dont think all the magic at Skywalker ranch is gonna make Carrie Fisher look 20 again now hehe. Or Han Solo or anyone else with a "face"

They could have Vader, Boba, Chewbacca, Yoda, Palpatine if they wanted.
All of those are possabilities for cameos.

Mon Mothma only made a brief appearance in film so they could get away with a similar looking actress there if they wanted.

Yeah, bud you've been duped. I haven't seen anything other than preliminary rumors that it would take place post-ROTJ. It's official that it's taking place between Episoded III and IV and the CG Series will be during the Clone Wars. I haven't heard the rumor about the storyline being about the padawans, but it sounds good. I doubt that you read it would take place after ROTJ in an official mag. What issue was it? You probably mis-read something about a new novel perhaps.
