Well I suppose I can now write about my excitement as C4 looms on the horizon. I am honored and a bit nervous at being invited to host Celebration 4 in L.A. I know that there are going to be a lot of special guests that span the three decades of Starwars and they all come with their stories and it is finding the balance between being a fan and being the host. Don't worry, I will have it sorted before the event.
I am also very aware that I am YOUR mouthpiece and I will make sure that you all will get you chance to put your questions to our guests. I think the thing that I am looking forward to the most is catching up with all the crazy people who make up the Starwars Convention universe. I think it also helps if you are a little left of centre yourself, but I have found that it is always the people who stand in line for hours, who spend weeks organising their costumes, who get friends and organisations behind their quest to get to the conventions, these are the people who I can relate to and look forward to meeting. I can tell you that there will be a fan based surprise to be announced in the coming weeks that will allow you all to......... I am sorry, you will just have to wait and find out. I send a special shout out to all my fellow 501st members and I look forward to working with you all.
BEG, STEAL OR BORROW, but make sure you get to L.A at the end of May and I, (along with the countless others in front of and behind the scenes), will make sure that C4 and the 30th Anniversary of Starwars will be the best darn week of your entire life. I PROMISE..Jay

Don't worry! You were awesome at CIII, and I'm sure you'll do just as good (if not better) this time 'round! Hope I can get to L.A. - it's in the works!

C4 will be the first SW celebration/convention I've ever been to, and I'm looking forward to it even more, now that you'll be hosting!

A friend I met here on the blogs has been making her own Padme costumes, and the details and embroidery are expuisite. There are some very talented costumers out there.

I bought the passes and made the hotel reservations months ago. Last night, I finally booked our airline tickets. I have to say, Jay, that I am so excited about CIV it's hard to concentrate on the business at hand!!!! My family attended CIII, and, sadly, only half of us are able to make to to LA. The two of us who are going will have lots and lots of wonderful stories to tell upon our return. I have no doubt.
Thank you for helping to make CIII so special, and I am sure we won't be disappointed in CIV.
Now, if you could just give us a little more of a hint to that surprise . . .

By the way, Jay, I gave you somewhat of a shout-out 'round Valentines Day - just an observation that my own Prince Charming is more the Typho type than a brooding Anakin or a meditative Luke. It's here if you care to see the name of your alter ego in the title (the rest is a little long-winded . . . )
I'll look forward to meeting you soon (I'll be the one with the curly-headed 8-year-old towing me 'round . . . )

so glad you're going to be there - such an excellent job as MC you did at CIII. You even made George appear comfortable in a very very public event attended by thousands. I hope George is also planning to attend this one and recommend that arrangements are made where you can accompany him to every public forum in which he's a participant. We all love to hear from the Maker but what he says and how much he does say depends very much on how comfy he is and Jay - you excel at that.
but hey, if you're saving dances, put me on your dance card - and I've done lots of choreography!

Very Cool.. I hope George doesn't confuse you with Temuera Morrison this year..
You did an awesome job hosting last year!!! And a huge hit at the fan club breakfasts!!
I can't wait to hear the Jay's "The Saga Begins"..this year..
