Asinine, Vapid & Just Plain Ear Bleeding...
First offender, Fergie.

if I hear "My Humps", "Fergalicious" or "Glamorous" one more time, I swear I'm gonna cut out that woman's stomach....and make her eat it.

Justin Timberlake

You're not bringing "SexyBack.", ya just sound like an annoying, talentless douchebag.

Kelis, you can take your damn "Milkshake" and shove it up your rectum, damn right.

As for you D4L, she can shake her "Laffy Taffy" down a bottomless pit so you all can follow her down there.

##### Cat Dolls.....actually..."Buttons" doesn't bother me so much...

Bubba Sparxxx...."Ms.New Booty" may be rockin' everywhere, but no one should have to hear about it!!

Ok...that's all for now...feel free to add your own entries.

All opinions are welcomed.

Please don't get my started on Britney Spears' music!!! I must say I agree with you.
These radio stations take these "pieces" (I can hardly call them songs) and play them in to the ground. Justin T...all his "music" sounds the same!!!

When I grew up...all those years ago...music was "pretty", lyrics were inspiring and it was just plain enjoyable.

Years ago, a man could woo a woman with some of the songs. Nowadays what woman wants to be subjected to vulgar poodoo. Rant is over!!!! :D

Yeah.... most so-called 'modern' music is crap. There are some good bands out there today, but most of the music I listen to is from the 70's or before... Coldplay is a good modern exception to this rule, though. But you are absolutely right....

too bad MY generation actually likes this stuff. I've been trying, my whole life, to convince kids at my school to listen to GOOD music ( john williams, holst, john phillip sousa, possibly some queen, any classic rock really, john williams again ect..)
oh well.... at least you guys here get that modern stuff stinks!!

You're very passionate about this, huh?

I can't stand any of that junk. No rhythm. No sense. Not enjoyable. It all sounds the same. Like toddlers banging on pots.
And a lot of the new groups have stupid names. I want more good stuff, like from the 50s'. That was fun, easy listening.
I agree with everything yodajes11 said. Williams is the master. I like Holst and Copland, too.
Anyone try the Brian Setzer Orchestra? He's good. Kinda rockabilly on some stuff and big band on other stuff.

I'm going to play devil's advocate for a moment...

Just because you don't like a certain type of music, does not mean that it is any less legitimate than the types that you do enjoy. Remember that even the music you recall from the 50's and 70's were once considered by many to be new-fangled crap. The reason why older music is more widely accepted is because, and let's see if any can follow this line of reasoning, it has been around longer. People are used to it, comfortable hearing it. There are plenty of songs from decades past that are just as womanizing and lacking of imagination as the ones you guys have been complaining about.
