I finished the 7th book in the
The Last of the Jedi series last night. I was surprised by the ending. I like it when books surprise me!
I haven't found much about this book on the
Star Wars website. The only thing I have found was from December 2006.

It's still not clear to me if this series is going to be 9 books or 10 books. I hope it will be 10. I really like this series and I'm looking forward to the next installment this summer. I'm not thrilled by the preliminary cover art for the 8th book. I assuming -- and I hope -- it will be changed before it goes to press.

But this is the awesome part -- I just learned that the Japanese versions of the Jude Watson Scholastic books have completely different cover art! And their artwork is *much* better! Why do they get the good artwork and we get the crappy artwork? Ferus Olin didn't even make it onto the U.S. cover of
Jedi Quest: The Way of the Apprentice! The U.S. Book #6 had a very cool cover but the others have been nothing to write home about.
I have seen pictures of a few of the Japanese covers. Two can be found here:

But if anyone out there can pass along a URL to pictures of all of the Japanese covers, I would very much appreciate it.
May the Force be with you.
