Well I'm back in the Hyperspace fandom again for another year. Just signed up for another whirl in the Star Wars universe.

I really like being a fan here, but each time I renew the membership I find it difficult to check the automatic renewal box. I'm not sure if this means I don't want the inconvenience of notices telling me my credit card is no good, or that I might have decided to leave this corner of the SW fan world. Whatever the reason it gives me a sense of control to know that I will be notified next year to sign on or be excluded.

My life has been full of cautionary thinking as long as I can remember. Being the oldest child might have something to do with it. While my folks both worked it was my job to see that my siblings made it home from school, got their chores done, did their homework, and in time of storms were safely tucked away in the house.

One of the worst jobs was to try to negotiate my brother's way out of neighborhood fights with bullies that might send him to the hospital. A couple of times it looked like it might be me going there instead. This did however teach me how to find peaceable conclusions to many confrontations. It might even explain why I have been married for so many decades.

Well, just really wanted to say to the other fans that it is good to be back for the coming season of a new movie and TV series for my grandkids to enjoy!
