Here's A Link To My New Sci-Fi Novel!!!
http://www.authorhouse.com/BookStore/ItemDetail.aspx?bookid=32403

i'm so excited! it seems like my publisher's link about "The Solar Bridge" is still under construction--the "About the Author" part has only the title and not the body.

anyway, check it out! i already have 2 request for my new novel! the person is my wife's aunt who lives in Kentucky and is a teacher. she purchased a copie(s) of my first novel, i believe. i know for sure she has the original story in short story form.

i'm actually getting a little nervous about it as i'm blogging this. i'll just try to be more c i r c u m s p e c t i v e about the marketing of this novel compared to how i was with my first one. seems like the harder i try, the worse off i am!

i came back to this blog so that i could add a caveat: my style of Sci-Fi is very serious. you won't find cute little aliens running around and i don't utilize the comic relief character. The Solar Bridge might be too serious for some people within the SW fan club family.

the novel is about racists from a future America that we are unfamiliar with in our time. basically, like i explained to my publisher, The Solar Bridge is meant to be a warning to today's American society that if we continue to self-segregate ourselves in the US, the future in my novel could, conceivably, happen!

like a reviewer said about my novel (i won't name him, he read it under a different situation), it's in the tradition of George Orwell's 1984, in which the author writes about a feared future.

i just thought i should post this caveat in the blog after i thought about it. so readers would not misunderstand me about the race issue in my novel. and don't worry, there's plenty of Science and Science Fiction in The Solar Bridge!
