Since the release of Episode I, which introduced the character of Qui-Gon Jinn, I have always aspired to his ability to distinguish himself, breaking away from the ancient traditions of the Jedi Order; speaking his mind, even when it got him into trouble; not letting himself be blinded to the Dark Side's machinations; unwilling to back down in any given situation.
To me, he was a true Jedi, a rogue, an exception to the rule, paving the way to a new era. Even though he has passed on, I shall pick up right where he started, carry on his name and legacy, be a beacon and a hope to future Jedi everywhere, and succeed where he failed.
