Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you know that I've got a copy of the infamous Frank Darabont script for Indy IV. It was apparently leaked the other day, and has been spreading through the interwebs like wildfire.
In case you weren't aware, the Indy IV concept went through a whole bunch of screenwriters before Georgie and Stevie settled on David Koepp's version. The most famous of these was Darabont's (director of "Shawshank," "The Green Mile," and "The Mist"), which was in large part due to the fit he threw when they rejected it.
Anyway, I've got a copy of it. I haven't had a chance to read it, but I skimmed the first few pages and I think it's legit. The writing is professional, and the first scene is very much like the opening scene in the film. I can't imagine that someone could write a ripoff screenplay in the short amount of time between the film's opening and now, especially given the level of secrecy on the project.
So, I've got it, and if you'd like it for yourself, send me an email at corterville@Hotmail.com and I'll send you a PDF.
Love,
YHOP
