Cool! So, Palps wasn't always hot stuff...that's kind of nice to see. ;)

I was really confused at why Plagueis would reveal his secret to the bounty hunter, showing weakness...but then it all made sense in the end! Haha! Ewwwwww!

Great stuff!

Just curious, I suck at remembering dates - about how old is Palpatine at this point?

A green laser traces the outline of his face. A wrinkle on his forehead instantly smoothes over. A liver spot on his right hand disappears.

Sorta reminds me of the Baron in Dune, cool! ]:)

Another good "chapter." I liked these scenes. There is so much intrigue being built up.

So far, the story has been well placed in the backstory to the prequels. I liked Maul's introduction. Have you given him a non-Sith name?

I too thought that Plagueis was being a bit open with Rath, but the end cleared that up. That was some well placed exposition in a style I could see Lucas using.

The title completely references him. This is his "Rise to Revenge".

Yeah, I had to make that little reveal somehow, and there was no way in the world he'd reveal it to Sidious.

Just curious, I suck at remembering dates - about how old is Palpatine at this point?
The story takes place ten years before Ep. I. I'd like him to be 35, but the math probably doesn't add up.

No. I figured some secrets were best left secret. That's also why I never gave Palpatine a first name either. He uses an alias later ( a name that some may find amusing) but I didn't want to ruin all the mystery of the character.

Another good one! I love how you added Maul, and as a little boy too! How cute!
