Dagobah on ROTS DVD

I really missed this part of the movie and I am very excited that Yoda's arrival on Dagobah will be on the ROTS DVD

"The deleted scenes include one that fans have been waiting a long time to see, one that shows Yoda arriving on the swamp planet of Dagobah," says Jim Ward, Senior Vice President of Lucasfilm and Executive Producer of the DVD release. "George worked with Industrial Light & Magic and Producer Rick McCallum to finish most of these scenes with complete visual effects and sound design, and they bring a new perspective to the movie."

date Posted: Sep 26, 2005 4:53 PM Darth Odious 678 The reasons George Lucas deleted those scenes are: 1) The movie would be even longer, 2) He didn't think the audience would like the scenes, and lastly, they would raise his budget costs on the movie.

Personally I'd rather see more of the fight between Yoda and Sidious. In the movie they're fighting each other with their lightsaber's, neither of them gaining the upper hand. Then we jump to some other scene. When we come back, Yoda's getting his a$$ whupped by Sidious, who is tossing the Senate pods at Yoda. How did Sidious gain the upper hand? These are supposed to be the two most powerful force users in the galaxy. The fight was impressive, but I wanted more. (and yes, anakin is just as powerful but he lacks experience)
