I am scarred for life.
This is the story of the worst Star Wars encounter in my life. Episode III, around a week after it was released, (I don't want the experience to be ruined by some guy named Bob in front of me) I sat down in the theater, popcorn and candy at hand, for the best two and a half hours of my life. The LFL logo appeared, and the words "STAR WARS" flew into sight. But then, something was wrong...
The music was not as upbeat as it should have been. The room filled with laughter, but I wasn't laughing. Either the speakers, or the projector were messed up, and I was upset. The sound was slow, but, I kept watching.. And then, a staff member came to the rescue, to fix the movie!! We're all saved!! Or so I thought.. It was still messed up. I should have left the theater the moment I realized the problem, but I didn't.. I watched the whole movie with the actors and SFX off sync, and the music screwed up.
And, the worst thing was, it was Star Wars!! Not some other movie, where I wouldn't even have noticed, or cared! And, that is how I will remember my first, but not my last, viewing of Revenge Of The Sith. So that is how I am scarred for life.
