I have not played Renegade Squadron, but I do have experience with hackers. One of my former friends became a hacker about two years ago, and he has not been stopped since. I tried to once, but it just resulted in a broken friendship.

Anyways, I really wish that someone would make an effort to stop them. It really does stink like bantha poodoo that no one has seriously tried.

Cheaters never win..

The one thing you can do is report them to gamespy. They are the ones who handle the online aspect of this game. I havent run into any yet. I have only played online a few times.

i have reported to gamespy. they said that i would have to report it to lucasarts, so i did that today. so far, i haven't heard back from them.
if you're ever online, whtch out for anyone with ohg or onehitgamer.com in their name. if you see that, just find another server. there are others, but those ohg guys are probably the worst. just look at how messed up our leaderboard is.
wow, i am happy to see that i'm not alone in my thoughts on this subject though. i half expected a bunch of the ohg guys spam me or something.
i should blog more. i've been a star wars fan since '77. i've been a fanclub member for years and this is my first blog on here. maybe, i'll write one later with a happier theme.

That's too bad about the hackers. I have played some Renegade Squadron online, but haven't run into any hackers... yet. Maybe hackers explains why I always lose when I play games online, though!

I ran into one today. The whole team was grouped behind one. Shot him with an orbital strike. Goodbye team.
