My Revenge of the Sith Review
After a 4 hours wait in line, which is an enourmous amount of waiting for brazilians, the movie began...

The drums...oh the drums on the first seconds...Really really impressive stuff...

The opening space battle was cool, funny and exciting for me, I liked it a lot...

Well, some people said that it doesn't have the emotion of the ones in Episode IV and VI, but they forget the didn't have to WIN the battle, all they had to do was rescuing the Chancellor....!

Now I must admit that all the action that happened on the Invisible Hand was major fun! Artoo kicked butt, and all the dialogues between Ani and Obi were lighthearted and cool.

Grievous. Oh, ILM is this year's award whiner for VFX. The General IS real, the thing breaths and coughs perfectly!

Now the Dooku duel. Once again Ben Burtt, who is an UNIQUE sound editor screwed one of the fights of the movie with his editing work on the movie...

It was shorter than all of us expected and some nice dialogue were cut, but it was still cool, cause Dooku's face was Chris Lee's face! ILM really outdid itself there...

And now, must bow before Ian MacDiarmid's acting. Since the beggining odf the movie he owned my soul. "Good Anakin, good...Kill him....Kill him NOW!"...I'm speachless...

Ian MacDiarmid deservers AT LEAST a nomination for best actor in a supporting role for this one, oh he does...

Well, then we have the cool landing scene, and we get into the second act of the movie...

The dialogue, all the plotting are carefully and well done, I'm really happy with it...

Although some scenes between Ani and Padme are unnecessary, this act is a good part of the movie, cause it seetles up for what we've been waiting for...

The third act, Darth Vader's return..

All the acting, from the moment Mace's Posse went to visit the Chancellor is outstanding...

Hayden is WAY better, and Ewan is at his best...

I must talk about Yoda too, since the CGI work on him is perfect, his skin IS real, and the clothing is superb. Props to ILM...!

Once again Ian stole the show, now under heavy makeup and with THE voice, the Emperor's voice, which is far more scary then his new apprentice's in my humble opinion....

The Order 66 scene is awesome, the music is great, the planets kick ###...

Now, I again bow before Ian...

I'm still impressed with his acting during the session on the Senate...

And, finally, the Duels...

The scene between Padme, Obi-Wan and Anakin, or Vader, is just perfectly written and the acting is unique...

Hayden outdid himself, Nat was sweet, and as one of my friends said: "A new adjective should be invented to describe how awesome Ewan was before and after The Duel"...He owned the last act alongside with...

Ian...Yeah, the Duel between Yoda and Sidious was epic as it was meant to be...fast, mad, and in the best scenario to show how big that confrontation was...the gigantic Senate Rotunda...

Vader's fate was done in such a nice and strong way that I'm still shocked...

His arrongance during The Duel were his undoing...

The surgery scene, as the birth scene were cool stuff, just sweet and nicely intercut...

Vader's "Force Tantrum" was a nice scene, though more destruction and debris were missed...

But JEJ's voice owns every scene he's in... :D

The very ending is sad, but very well done...

I missed Qui-Gon scene a lot, but I do hope we'll get it in one of the DVD releases for this movie, alongside with Yoda landing on Dagobah....

And the last scene, Tatooine's twin suns setting, with the dawn of the Republic and the presence of the one that will eventually help the Force to be put back in balance...just...

Well, I'm running off of adjectives here, so I'll end my review...

Ewan and Ian owned this movie, they deserve to be on the Academy Awards Ceremony next year...

ILM outdid itself and will be rewarded for that...

And thank you, George...

You brought us a magnificent ending to our beloved Saga, and we're all very happy with it...

I do hope all you plans for the future work out fine, specially the Star Wars related ones...

I can't wait for the next batch of Clone Wars, as I'm dying to get ROTS DVD...

And 2007...well, that's stuff for another entry...
