A Tremor In The Force....

R2? What Are You Doing Here?

Hey everybody. I have a small question for you. In AOTC, how did R2-D2 get to the geonosis execution arena? Think about it. How could he?

Anakin and Padme were escorted from the factory to the arena by Jango fett, and several Droidekas. How could R2 possibly find Them? Plus, The execution arena was very tall, I am not so sure his little thrusters could carry him so high. He certainly couldn't come in through the main entrancie, and it was guarded. he doesn't have too much for weopons. Plus, I have no Idea how he couldve found it.

What do you guys think? As before, I welcome comments, and my opinons may be incorrect.

That's a very good question, I never even thought of that. My guess is that nobody was able to find the sneaky little droid (they were probably more concerned with other things, such as the senator and jedi knight, who would appear to pose much more of a threat than a little R2 unit). We know that at least some of the droids on the assembly line were used in the battle in the arena, because that is how 3PO made his way into the fray, so perhaps R2-D2 was simply able to follow the droid army, or else slip into their ranks, unnoticed.
