StarWras.com has just released a sneak peek at some of the Sketch Cards I did for the new 30th Anniversary set. As most of you know- these are actual one-of-kind sketch cards where I drew on the actual trading card itself. Then, the cards are randomly inserted into packs for a lucky fan to win... It's kind of a neat way to win an original piece of official STAR WARS art...

So, because it's the 30th Anniversary of the saga, and because I am totally insane, I decided to hand paint each and every card in full color. (I did over a hundred.)

Usually I just do what's required on the SKETCH CARDS- which is by definition: "A quick, unfinished sketch." But with the anniversary, I just felt like celebrating and giving back to the fans, Lucasfilm, and the licensees that have been so supportive of me over the years.

I put a lot of time into these cards... Not sure how long per card, as each one was different. Probably the biggest challenge was just the card size. They are so tiny that it's very difficult getting in detail that small!
