Aftermath (beware: Spoilers)
I SAW IT LAST NIGHT!

...Ha to all you loserz out there. I am king supreme. If one were a fatalistic man, one could say I worked at the theater in college only so I could reap this specific benefit. Hmm, that would be a lot cooler were it true.
But anyway, Jodo and I used our influence to get in a day early, just like with AotC, and man, I liked it. I had my small gripes when I left the theater, but by the time I'd sat bored at work for an hour, I was dying to go back to the theater again (I guess that proves essentially nothing, since I'd rather have been burning alive on Mustafar than taking calls).
I bragged to pretty much everyone about it, too. So what if I'm petty? Eat me! And I'm going to see it again tonight. ...And Thursday, and Friday, and probably Saturday too. And like a fine wine, it will only sweeten with time. Wait, I think I'm mixing metaphors. Bollocks.
So I ran straight out after work and bought Visionaries. I'll let my blog (I can't say "you guys" because I'm damn near certain no one's reading this poodoo) know what I think of it. I also dug out my Dark Horse RotS issues 1-4, and I can finally bust those open after treating them like Gandalf with the One Ring (ya know, all anxious until the moment it's properly sealed, when it no longer has any power over me). The world will never know how hard it was not even to take a peek. Unless I just told the world. Damn.
And now to what nobody wants to hear, but I feel I must share: my gripes (which are already lessening over time):
1. Too choppy. The movie went by like a whirlwind, and it felt positively breakneck at times. Few scenes lasted over five minutes, and I think more time could have been spent on certain things.
2. Passing mentions of hugely important things. The Darth Plagueis speech and bit about Qui-Gon speaking through the Force were just plain glossed over. There was so much potential for revelation there, but they just left it all to the imagination. Which is cool by me, but I know people don't want to have to go to the books to have everything explained.
3. ...I forget. I think there was something else, but it must not have been that important, 'cause it's gone. Maybe I'll remember later.
And that's it. Jodo is starving, so I need to head out to Skyline, then the Levee for round 2. I promise to write much more in-depth stuff later, tomorrow or Friday when I'm off work and have time to kill.
