money makes the world go round. or at least, that's what they say. as i'm sure every other human on the planet has, i have dreamed of being filthy rich. like, bill gates rich. to have enough money you could buy every single NFL football team and still have enough left to buy out all the major airliners, and the rights to half of Hollywood. so as i was sitting around, dreaming of ways of how i would spend billions of dollars of dough, i realized, it isn't really money that i'm after.

everytime i dream of being filthy rich, i dream of how i came to be that rich. i usually come up with rock star. (i've been playing drums for nine years now). but then, i realized, i could deal without the copious amounts of riches. it's the title i'm after. i want to be THE best. not just one of the best. no, no. that is not good enough. i want to be THE best at whatever it is i try. problem is, i'm too lazy to do anything about it. i would rather be known as THE best drummer to ever live, and earn an average five figure income than be known as one of the best drummers ever and make millions. i want to go down in the history books as the best. the best drummer, the smartest scientist, the greatest writer, whatever. i want people 1000 years from now to watch a holo-doc on how Shaggy Fett was the best that ever lived.

glory. eternal glory. achilles is the best fighter. einstein the best scientist. i want to be known like that.

and if i can't, the lottery sounds pretty good too.
