Ok, now im pretty sure a lot of you guys are wandering about this high ground business. I mean, so what if he has the high ground? Anakin didn't have to jump so he would land right next to Obi-Wan. He flew like 100 ft after jumping off the fallen extension walk to land on that tiny little droid in the river of lava. Why couldnt he just jump an extra 10 feet past obi and higher than the reach of his blade, so that whole no limbs business didnt happen. THAT is the move that made Vader what he was soon to become, the man in the suit. It seems to me someone with that much power, that much skill, would make such a simple error in judgement as to not jump futher. If he had all of his limbs he could have easily overtaken the emperor within the next year or so. All he had to do was just pop out his lightsaber and cut the old man down. I just feel that Anakin made himself the slave of the Emperor from that one move. Otherwise, he would have been an apprentice, and eventually the master. However, his self inflicted physical disability hindered him for the rest of his life. Yes, self inflicted. Obi-wan may have actually cut Anakin's limbs, but it was Anakin's poor battle decision that caused him a life of suffering. Yoda warned him in episode one. anger leads to hate,
hate leads to suffering. He hated Obi-wan and the rest of the Jedi, and paid for it by having to suffer the rest of his life. Dark Lord of the Sith? He could have been the Greatest Sith Ever. Darth Vader the Badass. Thats another thing. Vader? Did Palps totally make that name up or what. I know you saw that face he made when he was trying to come up with a title for Anakin. Vader just seemed to pop into his head, and he was like ya, that sounds good. Darth Vader.
So what do you guys think about that whole I have the high ground business?
