Darth Bane: Path of Destruction thoughts
I just finished a re-read of Darth Bane: Path of Destruction. I posted some thoughts on geek rebellion, if you're interested.

I agree with you completely. I just read the book (for the first time) and really enjoyed it. You're totally right about how easy it is to side with Bane. From his background and all his experiences in early life, his philosophy, and that of the Sith, wasn't about anything evil or ruthless, it was just the way of the universe. He wasn't evil out of malice, it was just his view of the way of the universe, and that made it very easy to cheer him on and celebrate his victories every step of the way on the road to his murderous destiny.

Spot on review. I often found myself pulling for Bane, despite knowing what his Legacy would be. I hope Bane gets a third book.

Great review.

I agree with you, Bane is certainly a character you can understand - the one with all that potential - that falls between the cracks.
