Argh! Such a dilemma! What's a geek to do??? I have a few figures in the...er... new, old-style packaging. You know, the vintage wotsits with the little rectangular bubble and all that? Well, here's the rub: do I rip 'em open (like I normally do) so I can play with them and get that 'Christmas Day, 1983' feeling again or do I leave them in their lovely boxes? Now, this might seem silly, but the idea of having them just sitting there in their little plastic coffins upsets me almost as much as the idea of destroying the lovely retro-packaging! What a to do! Of course, I'm probably going to end up simply buying two of everybody so that I can do both, but I thought I'd take the time to make a little ripple in the Force about it anyway.
