This Isn't The One You Were Looking For...

Wow. I am NOT happy. I just spent the past two hours putting together an o'erlong, sappy entry. I was previewing the final product, and I hit something by accident and blasted the darned thing into oblivion. I HATE when that happens. I'll take it as a hint that I was going way overboard anyway. I tend to do that.

Nevermind anyway.

Thank you for taking up in the spirit of this idea, even though you're taking a break from the blogs. (Note I said "taking a break," not "leaving." You'd better not leave like I did.)

I'm also preparing myself for the attention it might not recieve...

But we'll see how interested people are.

date Posted: Apr 10, 2008 1:09 PM Well, that just stinks. I hate when that happens!!! And you can never really repeat what you've already written, especially when you're really pleased with it (and that's usually when it happens).

date Posted: Apr 10, 2008 2:39 PM I've learned now do write any long blogs in Word, edit them there, and cut and paste them into these blogs - one too many burnings! Will we ever know what you intended to write? My money is on the tenuous companionship between Lando and Lobot.

I just accidentally deleted the response I was going to say, so I ended up replying to my deleted response when I realized I had already deleted it, so I erased that one and started on a new one in Word, which I forgot to save before I closed it, which deleted the response to both my deleted responses, which actually wasn't a response but more of a do-over type thingy, and this is what's left.

Hmm...

date Posted: Apr 10, 2008 9:09 PM Maybe I could tell you guys what buttons delete things. First off there is backspace and delete. Then there is ctrl+a then delete or backspace. Then my personal favorite alt+f4. I'm not going to tell you what that one does. When you try it make sure you save whatever your working on. And hope you dont have anything important on the internet.

date Posted: Apr 10, 2008 9:17 PM That's too bad, ami! That happened to me before too ... I had a blog I was so proud of and right ready to post and blam!, it was deleted by accident. I tried everything to get it back to no avail. So I re-wrote it, but it just wasn't the same to me anymore! Ah well, I look forward to your next entry!

Yes, to Nobby you must listen... and typing them up in Word includes saving them every time you finish a thought... Or at least occasionally... I've always done it that way because my typing is sooooooo bad....

And I'd love to know where you get this idea that you go "overboard"! You just make all kinds of sense to me. Emotionally aware is not the same as dramatic.
