AmiraLeia
Hi fellow Star Wars fans...my name is AmiraLeia (Amira means princess in Arabic) and I am just about the same age as Star Wars. I was born in 1976. Star Wars was a a big part of my childhood and I always looked up to Princess Leia as one of my heroes. Now that I am an adult I enjoy dressing up as her and even dancing as her (Yes, that's me bellydancing in my slave Leia costume in the BanthaTracks DragonCon Picture. I'm the girl on the right.) I'll probably be blogging fairly regularly on here. Looking forward to meeting fellow fans online and perhaps at the next convention!

This weekend at Supercon I had so much fun. Sometimes the best things that happen are the unexpected, unplanned events. I brought my new red light saber to use in my Darth Vader to Leia act and I ended up in some awesome light saber duels. I was battling
