What's The Story? Well, forget the heavy equipment...

Thought you guys/gals might be interested in a little list I just compiled for Wookieepedia. Forget the main subject of each entry for now - let's have a peep at the "minor" elements that What's the Story? entrants have introduced into the brilliant saga that is STAR WARS...

Cool entry...And we've got another round coming up soon. :0) I hope people are writing entries, who knows how long this opportunity will be around...

To help out with your entry, I can say definitely that the DC0040 civillian version wasn't mine. Maybe that was LFL, they already had the numerical designation for the DC0052. In my original entry submission, I linked it to the civvie version of the T-47...so maybe it was Nathan? :0) Dunno. Sometimes, I think the folks at LFL add their own touches to make the story fit right.

Just so you know, the TechSpan I was not my doing, so you can subtract my name from there.

But, yeah, Spanner was my own original creation. Maybe one day he'll get his own series.

Great list. Nice to see the impact (however minor it might be) that What's the Story has had on the SW saga as a whole. It's great to have a small part in that.

Gentlebeings, congratulations on your successes! Sometimes the minor additions to the Star Wars saga are among the most satisfying, things you just kinda sneak in. I know mumuu-fighting was a highlight for me.

I'm going to go ahead and add this to my WTS: Behind the Scenes blog. :)

Thanks Arf for creating this blog :) I was planning to create such an entry as well and also adding the already established names I managed to sneak into my entries like Solomahal, Pote Snitkin, Roon, etc ...

Thanks Moose! I'm guessing it was Nathan who came up with the DC0040, since it doesn't seem to be an LFL "fix".

...And we've got another round coming up soon. :0)

Can't wait! Hopefully this Friday or next Monday :D

Yeah, that's what everyone is hoping for I guess ;) The UT-AT has already been referenced (Star Wars Insider 84), and apparently Grizz Frix will be appearing in The Complete Visual Dictionary :) Onnelly Praji in the Evasive Action: Recruitment appears to be a nod to the Tannon Praji entry. Not to mention the entries reprinted in the Insider, and references in other WTS entries.

Hey, Arf, are you adding ones for Round 6? If so, does Aneesa Dym from my Dusty Duck entry count?

She counts, Hedec. I added Aneesa Dym for you, but she doesn't yet have her own article written up. :)

Yep she sure does! I loved your Dusty Duck story Hedec :)

Shadow is obviously talking about updating the page on Wookieepedia.

I'll add Aneesa here now, and I'll add the others from Round 6 later when I get a chance to go through the other entries thoroughly :)

Oh yeah, sorry. I was referring to Wookiepedia. Though I like the list kept on this blog - it is very neat and concise. :D

"DC0040 - civilian predecessor of the DC0052 (Nathan (ChronoRadio) or LFL)"

I can clarify that one. I didn't come up with the DC0040. My main contribution was the latter half of the entry with the Jedi emergency deployment and that kind of thing.

Hey Arf. I didn't come up with the Braha'ket Fleetworks Conglomerate, although unless a truly freakish coincidence has occured, it's based on the name of the class of gunship, so that puts me at maybe 10% contribution wise. Good work with the list!

Round 7 has come around quite quickly :D. I've now updated the list with:
* Hamadryas - Cebann Veekan's species (Bubba1227)
* Imperial Entertainers Guild (DJ Maul: Got Feet?)
* Luptoom - Nar Hida's home planet (NarbFlick)
* Luptoomian - anything originating from Luptoom (NarbFlick)
* New Nozho - city on Clak'dor IV (ShadowCultist)

Hey, I've been trying to decide if this counts and I think it does, though it might be a bit tricky.

Aneesa Dym's father. For now, he remains unnamed but he still created the Dusty Duck and was its original pilot. Should there be some mention of him? Not his fault he didn't get named :8}

Yeah, I was thinking of adding a new section called "Nameless entities" or similar... Aneesa's father and the pregnant woman from the Nobot entry can go there, amongst other things.

I'll do it when I get home from work tonight. Thanks Hedec. :)

Thanks for the nod and an interesting idea for a list. Perhaps you should put in the criminal featured in, both, the Rango Tel and Dusty Duck entries?

Gee, this list could go on forever...but, it WOULD be nice to have it all out there so that future WTSers can come along and give names to these characters and elaborate on their stories. After all, Ottegru Grey used to be the "disguised bodyguard" in Tannon Praji's entry...
