I've been thinking about it for months... and today it has finally become a reality: my girlfriend and I have just booked plane tickets to LA, and I'll be going to Celebration IV!!!!

We've organised a 5 week round-the-world trip, and it's all thanks to a Star Wars convention It feels a little awkward explaining that to the non-Star Wars folk (they never understand!), but hey, that's what being a fanboy is all about.

It will be our first ever trip to the USA; I'm finally leaving the Outer Rim - or the "a-s-s end of the Galaxy", as Kevin Rubio's TROOPS would call it - and heading for the Core Worlds

So hopefully I'll get a chance to meet some of you fine people . I'll be hanging around the Wookieepedia table a little, though I'll be spending most my time oodling around the rest of the place, hopefully meeting some VIPs, handing out Star Wars Outsider postcards, and doing other nerdly things, such as... I don't know, I really don't know what to expect! Is there a bar?
