well, its a new day, a good one indeed. not only is it the day we, as fans, have all been awaiting for many years. it is the end of an era, the end of a saga. it is also the beginning. "of what?" you may ask. i say, it is the beginning of a new era, a new saga, one without films, but a saga crafted and modeled by our ideals and by our everlasting dedication. it is up to us, as fans, to continue the saga. the film portion of this saga will be completed in close to ten hours. a good ride it has been. when the first film premiered, i was not even thought of, just a figment in the minds eye. but now some thirty years later, i am feeling a small portion of the awe that must of surrounded the original film's premiere. with the prequel trilogy coming to a close and the saga finished. i feel divided, first and foremost, a sense of completion, a feeling of euphoria knowing the saga which i have come to love is finally complete. though a small emptyness is also felt, as if something is missing. though i do look forward to this final film, i fear the aftermath, just the thought of knowing this is it, this is the end. the thought leaves me hollow and dumbfounded. this feeling is minimal though, as we have so much more too look forward. i find it humorous, after all the hype, all the up and downs, the anticipation, it is finally here. in a mere ten hours, we will be in awe of this final masterpiece of the saga, which we have so eagerly awaited.
