Why didn't the Jedi understand that he was supposed to balance the force, he was going to balance it not only help the Jedi.

How would it be balanceing the force if he only stayed on the Jedi's team. he balanced it out perfectly if you ask me. He balanced it out perfectly because he killed every Jedi but two, and the Sith of course only have two.

wouldn't the coucil understand that balancing the force means help both teams and making them even?
