So, are the sith really so powerful? Some of you say yes and others say no. Well let's settle this argument once and for all. Lets start with the original triolgy. Darth Vader, sucks, no offense to Vader fans out there but his lightsaber style really sucks. HIs force powers, well, he can choke people but we've never seen him use force lightening. Now, the emporer. In episode 6, all he does is laugh and get instant arthritis (notice his hands when he uses force lightening). Luke on the other hand, grows up just like any other boy and then when he's like what, 18 or so, he learns that, oh, my father was Anikin skywalker, I'm a jedi, Wow! Then he trains like 7 years at most and then defeats Vader, gee, I mean Vader is the one with all the jedi and sith trianing??!!?!?! Obi-wan, in episode four, he talks more than he fights! Now on to the prequel trilogy. The emperor I have to admit is really good in this one. He takes out a lightsaber, hacks down 3 jedi and then goes on to fight Mace Windu. Of course we know the emperor wouldn't have survived without Anikan there to say, "I need to save Padme'" and cutting off Mace's hand but still the Emperor is pretty impresseve, not to mention he's hidden himself from the jedi this whole time. Mace Windu fights really well, like I said before he defeated the emperor until Anikan went crazy. Now Yoda, In episode 2, is fighting really well, he cathes the force lightenting and even sends it back at Dooku. Dooku on the other hand is a different matter, although he is pretty good, Anikan who is so young, manages to kill him. Now, on to the young obi-wan, he's pretty good, I mean, he managed to kill Darth maul. Qui-gon apparently was pretty powerful too, because he was the first to achieve immortality. Now, for Darth Maul, he in my opinion was better than Vader, Dooku and Grevious. Why, he wielded a double bladed lightsaber, killed a jedi master, a jedi knight, succeeded in killing Qui-gon jinn, and almost killed Obi-wan kenobi, not to mention that he killed qui gon after battling with sand people as well as qui-gon on tatoonine. Now that's impressive. Of Course we have all the other jedi and sith to account for in the expanded universe such as Exar Kun, Nomi Sunrider, Tenal Kal, Jaina Solo, ... anyway just who is the best, the jedi, or the sith?
