To be or not to be... (a big bad bounty hunter)
I know this subject had been brought up before but I'll bring it up again. Is Boba Fett really a bad kid (as well as an adult)? Lets bring up the facts here. He goes around shooting people as an adult and has fantasies of killing people for money as a child. Sound brutal? Second question, is it his fault. In my opinion NO!!! Instead of seeing it from the "Good guy" point of view, let's look at it this way. He was brought up by a bounty hunter and even though his father loved him, his father was gone a lot. Next point, he's just a son wanting to be just like dear old dad. In addition, he witnessed his fathers death at the hand of the jedi when he was only ten. Now he's stuck in the universe with no friends and no family. He has only this black book that his father gave him to guide him. Now the death of an only parent can be pretty traumatic to the child. Think of Anakin. He's what, 20 or so, when his mother dies, he gives in to the dark side, slaughters all the sand people. now that's what Boba Fett would like to do I could imagine when his dad died. But being the kid that he was, he couldn't do much. He only had his book and his father's ship. So first point, hadr childhood leads to hard and seclusive life. THink, why do you hardly ever see his face. He might just want to hide from his past. But then again vader does too. Anyway, he's just ten years old when he becomes an orphan seeking to please his fathers ghost. And well, if you say that he's just plain bad. Look at the story through his eyes. Which reminds me. There's a story about too boys who get into a fight. The teacher come out to see what's wrong. They tell the teacher about it. The teacher see's that they need a lesson. She (the teacher) brings the two boys to her desk. She brings out a cube. She ask's the first boy what color is it. he responds white. Then she asks the second boy what color it is. He says black. Now before they can start fighting again, she tells them to switch places. They do as they're told. Now when she asks the first boy what color it is he see's that it is black. They second boy can now see that it is white. It's a cube with 2 colors. So both of them were right. So you see. Depending on whose eyes you see it through, there's always a different story. And it just so happens that Through Boba Fett's eyes, he sees an arogant jedi cutting down his noble father. From most of our eyes, a noble jedi cutting down a arogant, ruthless, and cruel bounty hunter. So upon hearing this do you still think Boba Fett is a bad kid? by the way, this is the second time that I've brought this up. Please answer this question.
