the prophecy is mistaken!
padawan blogger here so here goes. i would like to see your thoughts on my idea that anakin is merely a pawn in the "one who brings the force back into balance" prophecy thing, for it is his grandson Jacen Solo who i feel is the true holder of said feat.

i have currently read 90+ SW books prequel, original, and expanded galaxy with the majority of essential guides and a few stragglers in between and i have come to the realization that anakin skywalker is merely the stepping stone of said prophecy. why i feel this way is upon learning and experiencing the different ways of the force through the diversity of its explanations via the median of SW literature.

i first came upon this thought, no, this ephipany during my passage within the NJO. after Jacen Solo's trial at the hands of Vergree and the Yuuzahn Vong thru the "embrace of pain" as a result of his capture from the Mykyr mission that brought to his (and to mines) attention that this was the moment when a descendant of skywalker finally and truly let go of all emotions and stepped away from the beaten path and made his own trail. as we all know from the NJO about how the Yuuzahn Vong exist outside of the force--{if you have not read the NJO please stop reading this i do not wish to ruin it for you}--but we did not know (from the start of it anyhow) as to why they existed outside of the force. okay spinning off track for a bit i'll save that topic for another run.

back to JS i reckon that he is the true prohecy because he did indeed bring the YV back into the force and bring the force back into balance because if you stop and look at it a great and seemingly all powerful evil (YV) was swarming the galxy capturing half of the known systems destroying and turning to thier beliefs all who stood in their way. but then came a jedi (Jacen) stuck on the beliefs of the old who was enlightend with the help of an old master (Veregre) forming a bond of new and old beliefs mixing the light and the dark to break the restraints of the old ways and form into the new ways. finding those who were lost and helping them to be found. the force wasn't and isn't going to be brought back into balance right away. many battles i feel are still to come. many wrongs to be righted. but the steps have been taken, the path has been chosen.

--After Jacens feat the galaxy rethought their allegiances and dropped the republic idea been there done that don't work no more and formed the galactic Alliance , independant systems together for trade and protection. sounds a bit like a confedacy doesn't it. maybe that wasn't such a bad idea after all. perhaps if the jedi were not were not so connected to the goverment, separation of church and state so to speak, they could have seen the path that the galaxy was taking .

so SW fans read the NJO and the dark nest trilogy and also the latest trilogy of the latter half of 2006-Legacy of the force and perhaps you will see that my train of thought is not so farfetched at all. now that is enough banter from me for this tale of mine shall end and i anxiously await your thoughts good or bad. thank you.
