Forgive me Father, for I have...
... sinned. It has been nearly 3 months since my last blog. A question it was on who we are and why we choose the avatar that we use. But back to the wrong that I have finally been able to right (or would that be write?) anyhow I have been busy with my new job as a Romer Inspector Operator with the company that I work for.

This position is in the Qaulity control area for Cummins Emissions Solutions and as you can guess it is in the extreme detail category as we only have a tolerance of less than 6 milimeters (or milmitres for you folks across the pond) half above the nominal distance and half below for the parts that we are constucting. When you are working with steel and welding operations this is not a whole lot of room to play with.

{please keep reading their will be star wars stuff at the bottom I promise}

What we make are the Cummins Particulate Filters for the medium to heavy duty Truck and tractor industry such as you would see on Semi tractors, constuction equipment, city buses and agricultural use as well. This product ( a hi-tech muffler in laymans terms) is reported to be capable of capturing up to 90% of diesel fuel emissions. Being as not an official spokesman for the company this is about all that I can say other than the fact That I absolutely love my job.

But enough of that jazz on to the point that this is the reason that I have been away for so long. no writing blogs and not even being able to reply to them either. After staring at and working with a computer anywhere from 10-12+ hours a day 5 days a week the last thing I want to do when I come home is to play on the computer. Family time on the weekends and there you have it, come monday it won't be alright (sorry Jimmy) on to work again.

So here is the star wars stuff (finally) For Valentines Day my wife took the most prized part of my star wars collection, A picture of me in An X-wing pilots uniform like the kind you see at fairs and amusment parks. You know the type thats puts your head in place of that of your favorite character. She scanned this picture on our computer and then printed it out on an iron on thingy and then made me a T-shirt out of it. How cool is that. We went out with some friends that following weekend and all the guys were very jealous.

Oh and in case you want to know what I got her it was a dozen roses- not very original I know but for someone who normaly gets jewerly it was a nice suprise. hope your Valentines was as speacial as mine.
