I'm so excited! Not only will Anthony Daniels be at COSI's Imagination Celebration 2006, but I get to go!! Tickets to the event is my birthday present this year!!

This is extremely cool on several levels. Firstly, COSI (Center of Science and Industry) is quite a neat museum. I remember visiting it several times as a kid and really enjoying exhibits like the see-through woman and Progress.

Secondly, this is the first time in recent memory that a Star Wars themed exhibit/event like Star Wars: Where Science Meets Imagination has made it to my neck of the woods and I've been able to attend. I believe the Cincinnati Pops did the music of Star Wars (hosted by Anthony Daniels ) a while back as part of a concert series...but alas, I had to work and couldn't go.

Thirdly, Mr. Daniels will be the first celebrity of any flavor I've had the chance to meet in person. Granted, with the internet and the proliferation of celebrity blogs, I've "met" several celebrities, so to speak, but there's just something about the chance to actually meet them in person. It's more real somehow.

Wheeeee! This is going to be so much fun! Anyone else in the Columbus, OH area planning on attending the gala, or even just going to see the exhibit?
