Topps ROTS Lotto Entries Due...
Your chance for some free Topps Revenge of the Sith cards will be up come June 1st. On the back of the pack of cards you'll find an address that you can send in up to 8 entries per household. All you have to do is hand write your name and address on a 3x5 card, and hand write the address on the envelopes (they'll throw out computer printed or copied labels...you have to suffer slightly in order to get the goods). The contest is only open to the US & Canada (except Quebec). Since apparently under Canadian law they are not allowed to be given anything for nothing, you guys need to earn it...so Canadians need to answer the following math problem and put the answer on card with your address: 10 + 5 x 2 - 8 = ? Entries need to be postmarked by June 1 and received by June 8. Answer is 12 by the way.

There's actually two contests, the Hobby Pack Lottery & the Retail Pack one, so you can enter each 8 times...odds of winning a chase card are the same as the stated chase cards ratios, so first, the addresses (only the post office box is different):

Hobby:
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
P.O. Box 155
Avoca, PA 18641

Hobby prizes:
Etched-Foil: 1 per 6 entries
Lenticular Morph: 1:24 entries
Sketch: 1:36 entries

So you should at least get and etched foil card for your efforts.

Retail:
Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith
P.O. Box 157
Avoca, PA 18641

Retail prizes:
Stickers: 1:3 entries
Tattoos: 1:3 entries
Etched-Foil 1:6 entries
Embossed Foil: 1:6 entries
Holograms 1:12 entries
Lenticular Morph 1:24 entries

These odds are so good, it's ridiculous not to enter 8 times for the Retail contest. It works out that you should get about 4 cards, but if you bought any of the various Retail boxes or tins, you know that pretty much every single pack had a chase card in it, so getting 8 cards shouldn't be out of the question.

Odds are just that, a chance to win not a guarantee...but Topps has been really, really good with running these contests as of late (from about the Evolution set on)...before that, no one ever won anything. I know I scored big the Heritage lottery and got a sketch card, so people do win.

--------------

While I'm thinking about it, Topps is also selling a unique Star Wars card in their Chronicles Set. Each week, Topps takes the biggest/most interesting headline and makes it into a card. At $5 a pop, I'm not really interested in having a 52 card set for 2005, but there was this small independent movie that came out last week, so it's featured on one of these cards. Click here to check it out. It came out to $6.75 with shipping. But it should be worth $6.83 in about 40 years right? Right?
